“A Sense of Place,” people doing what they do best - making greater Cleveland a better place. These place makers have individually made a mark on their community; whether it be through design and construction of buildings, leading companies, founding nonprofit organizations, or education. At their root, they are giving back with their time and talent to enhance the lives of others. Collectively, Place.Makers are shaping the community identity, driving social dialogue, and lifting civic spirits.

Commissioned by the Cleveland Foundation, the world's first community foundation supplying nearly $90 million in grants annually, since 1914.
