Bordeaux

This print will be up for silent auction at Rozi’s Wine House for their Bordeaux themed wine tasting event fundraiser for the Barton Senior Center in Lakewood, Ohio on Friday May 31, 2019, 6 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

This is a meaningful image to me as it was my first time in France. It started to rain on a muggy evening after a day exploring Bordeaux and just new by the energy of the quare that there would be something to capture that I would remember.

My Grandmother was a resident at Barton so when I was asked to donate I could not refuse.

Environmental Protection - Burning River

As I have spent most of my days near the fresh waterways surrounding Cleveland I am forever grateful for the organizations that were formed after the burning river in ‘69 50 yrs ago this year.
The Environmental organizations such as National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) 1970 and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 1972 were put in place by Congress to resolve the issues of land pollution, not just in Cleveland, but throughout the United States.

One of the first legislations was the Clean Water Act (1972) which mandated that all rivers throughout the United States be hygienic enough to safely allow mass amounts of swimmers and fish within their waters.
Now, the Cuyahoga river is home to about 60 different species of fish.
